just been into jessops and they are just switching their offers over on SLRs. they are offering the 400d for £499.99 and then giving £50 cash back. I actually got him to drop it to £445 as said thats what dixons were doing it at. Dixons, currys etc have all put their prices back up to £400 mark for this camera today.
Came with the 18-55mm lens and he threw the bag in free.
Also used the price match Jessops voucher in Digital photogaphy and got the canon 70-200 lens for £430 instead of £500!
Ordered the Sandisk Extreme III 2gb card from play for £18 (couldn't bring myself to pay the £130 at Jessops!!) and I'm well chuffed!
Think the £50 cashback may be a national/any retailer thing and off other Canon SLRs to hence why all the prices have just gone back up.
