I went into my local Currys digital (Alfreton, Derbyshire) today for an aux cable for the car. These were priced at 7.95 but reduced to 97p at the till. :-)

Also comes with a 6.3mm adaptor as well as the 3.5mm connectors, and they are gold plated.
